This page explains what personal information I collect on this website, why I collect it, and what you can ask me. I wrote it so you can read it in two minutes.

Who is responsible

Nakelo is run by Charles, who is also the person responsible for protecting personal information. For any question or request, write to contact@nakelo.com.

What I collect

When you fill in the contact form: your name, your email, your company name if you give it, and your message.

If you accept audience measurement: the pages you view, your device and browser type, and your approximate region, through Google Analytics.

Why

I use your contact details only to answer your request and follow up on our business relationship. Audience measurement helps me understand how the site is used so I can improve it.

I don’t sell your information and I don’t share it for advertising.

Where your information is stored

The site and its database are hosted with Amazon Web Services in Montreal. Requests sent through the form are emailed to me using Amazon SES (Canada) and arrive in a Google Workspace mailbox, whose servers may be located outside Quebec.

If you accept audience measurement, browsing data is processed by Google, which may store it outside Quebec, including in the United States.

How long

I keep requests as long as needed to answer them and follow up on our business relationship. Then I delete them, or sooner if you ask me to.

Cookies

The site uses cookies that are essential to how it works and to its security, for example to protect the contact form. They’re not used to track you.

Google Analytics cookies are only set if you click “Accept”. You can change your mind any time with the button below.

Your rights

You can ask me to see the information I hold about you, to correct it or to delete it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Write to contact@nakelo.com: I reply within 30 days.

If you’re not satisfied with my answer, you can contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.

You haven’t made a choice yet.
